Continue to support and facilitate the 800 MHz rebanding effort within the Commonwealth

Tasks

• Fund a consultant for regional planning and information gathering efforts as funding permits
• Request periodic updates from Virginia Information Technologies Agency (VITA) on progress to the State Interoperability Executive Committees (SIEC)
• Engage State Interoperability Executive Committees (SIEC) and Advisory Group member organizations, and SAFECOM in the rebanding effort as necessary to promote and endorse what is best for public safety
